San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.- According to “Editorial Cinco” news website, a teacher was accused before the “Unit of Integral Attention to Women” (Unidad de Atención Integral a la Mujer), part of the Deputy Justice Region D, located in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, for the alleged crime of sexual abuse, commited against six children in a kindergarten in the municipality of Comonfort, Guanajuato.
One of the complainants named María, revealed that her daughter was touched with an object by the teacher.
After that complaint, other five mothers also denounced the teacher; whereby, the children were taken to make psychological studies, but so far the results are unknown.
A total of six complaints were settled in the investigation file number 43196 / 2016.
Some of the victims’ mothers declared that: “the teacher used to lock herself with the children behind closed doors and covered windows, inside the classroom where presumably the crimes took place”.
Additionally, some of the affected children stated that the teacher sometimes ordered them to touch each other’s intimate parts. For that reason, most parents stopped taking their children back to that school, in order not to expose them anymore.

On Friday October 14, Maria, mother of one of the victims, went to the Regional Delegation of Education to file a complaint, in order to inform the Education authorities in Guanajuato of the situation, so they could take the proper action against the suspect.
At 3:35 p.m., the complaint was received at the Department of Conciliation and Legal Counsel of the Department of Education (Departamento de Conciliación y Consejería Legal de la Delegación de Educación). Therefore, this Legal Counsel asked the Public Ministry (Ministerio Público) to legally proceed against the suspect.
Finally, the victim’s mother asked the state authorities to expedite the investigation before this so-called teacher could hurt more innocent children physically and psychologically.
Meanwhile, the Guanajuato’s Education Secretariat (SEG- Secretaría de Educación de Guanajuato) issued an official statement: “We are investigating this case and collaborating with the state authorities, due to the complaints filed before the Public Ministry by several parents against a teacher of the “Cristobal Colón Kindergarten”, located in Comonfort.”
The SEG concluded that “the children involved in this case and their families will receive the necessary support and psychological comprehensive care, in absolute confidentiality”.
According to “Editorial Cinco” news website, no arrests have been made and the suspect is currently a fugitive of the law.
