Taco Fair coming to San Miguel de Allende

For the first time, the Taco Fair  will be held in San Miguel de Allende’s Benito Juarez Park, the appointment is on Saturday January 11, there will be tacos de pastor, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, dorados, canasta and more.

Rafael Díaz Benitez, director of UNE Allende University, said that it is a pleasure to announce the first Taco Fair in San Miguel de Allende, organized by the “Tourist Management” students at UNE Allende University.

Luis Enrique Teniente, Felisa, Sheila Soria, Diego Adrián, Claudia and Brenda are some of the young people who participate in the realization of the event, and they explained that the Taco Fair came up with the idea to create a “new tourism product” for San Miguel de Allende, although it is already being carried out in other municipalities, this year it will take place in San Miguel.

So on January 11 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, 13 professional taqueros will be offering tacos of all varieties; carnitas, dorados, sudados, beans, etc., and of course the traditional ones: steak, pastor, chicharrón, campechanos and more.

The event will be enlivened with music from independent-local groups, it is a free access event, attendants only have to pay for their tacos. “It is open to all types of audiences, at all ages, it is a family event” the students said.

The taqueros are coming from; San Miguel de Allende, Comonfort, Dolores Hidalgo and Guanajuato capital, there will also be stand of craftsmen and typical sweets, desserts, drinks, etc.

The students hope that all San Miguel families will attend this great event that will be held for the first time in the municipality.
