Queretaro is number 8 among the “Top 15 aerospace cities of the future”
Querétaro was ranked eight place overall in the “Top 15 Aerospace Cities of the Future”, by a subsidiary of economic analysis for the influential “Financial Times” newspaper.
The ranking was released in London, England, on Friday July 21, 2016.
To create the list for future aerospace cities 2016/17, the Intelligence Division of the “Financial Times” gathered data using specialized tools, such as FDI Benchmark, FDI Markets and other sources.

Data was collected in 72 different countries for different categories:
- Economic potential
- Investment
- Performance
- Profitability
- Innovation
- Attractiveness
- Connectivity
Singapore topped the list, Dubai is the second place and Shanghai, third.
Finally, Queretaro was recently ranked fifth place worldwide in aerospace investment attraction, and first place at national level , followed by the state of Chihuahua.
