CNN Travel placed San Miguel de Allende as number three within the top 10 best cities to travel, according to the ranking by Travel + Leisure
The world renown travel magazine revealed the award winners on Wednesday July 6 as part of their 21st annual reader survey of top travel destinations and companies around the world.
Popular tourism spots around the world also took home T+L honors. Chiang Mai, Thailand and San Miguel de Allende in Mexico ranked second and third among the world’s top cities.
San Miguel de Allende, Mexico – A UNESCO World Heritage Site, San Miguel de Allende in Mexico “is the most charming town, with cobblestone streets and colonial architecture,” said Sara Clemence, Travel + Leisure News Director. “There’s a vibrant art scene here, and you can eat everything from traditional Mexican fare to Asian fusion food.”
