“Tunnel Fest” 2016: GIFF grand finale

At a press conference, the Tunnel Fest organization committee announced that “everything is ready for this year’s “Tunnel Fest”, that will serve as a grand finale for the 2016 Guanajuato International Film Festival”.

“Tunnel Fest” has become a tradition in Mexico with a good dose of electronic music, which this year will take place on Saturday July 30 inside the Diego Rivera tunnel in the beautiful colonial city of Guanajuato.

In 2015, the attendance was 2,800 people, for this year a considerable increase in the number of  electronic music fans is expected (Organization Committee is talking about at least 5,000 people).

For this edition of “Tunnel Fest”, the event’s theme is Asian Style, since Japan was the guest of honor for this year’s Guanajuato International Film Festival.

“Tunnel Fest” activities will kick off with the cycle of “Set Ambulante” and series of previous performances by “DJ set” in emblematic places of the capital, such as “Astitos”, “La Valenciana”, “El Pípila” and “La Alhóndiga de Granaditas”.
