Meanwhile, Esau Magallanes Alonso, President of the National Chamber of Industry (Canacintra) in Querétaro, considered that the second half of 2016 will be favorable for attracting more industry, since Querétaro provides human conditions, job security and stability for domestic and foreign companies to invest.

Magallanes commented that the National Chamber of Industry is currently working on a program to develop the local suppliers, as well as other actions to substitute importations.

He said: “it is possible to insert the local firms in new projects within the state, in order for them to supply international companies.”

About the coming business trip to Japan and Canada planned by the state government, Magallanes said: “We are exploring the possibility of generating more business opportunities during these trips.”

“Besides, we will bring new investments to Querétaro, and foreign industries will have a better perception of our state ” Magallanes concluded.
