“Ingredients for a good life” are capsules produced by Canadian singer Amanda Martinez, who was traveled through some of the most renowned sites of the state of San Luis Potosi. Martinez shows in her videos: amazing experiences, flavors, sounds and colorful attractions.

Amanda Martinez is a Toronto-based singer/songwriter whose music exultingly blends her unique Mexican and South African roots with flamenco soul.

She has headlined at the legendary Blue Note jazz club in New York, at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Festivities in South Africa, and at the 2011 PanAmerican Games in Guadalajara. She also performed in a series of concerts during the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games, as well as hosting several events. During the 2015 PanAmerican Games, she also served as the honourary co-chair of the Ignite program.

According to, the official website of the Tourism Ministry in Mexico, in Real de Catorce during the days of yore there was a town made of stone that was brimming with silver and able to build a then-unimaginable tunnel as a symbol of its power. This town had a twin, plundered and almost ghostly with wild dogs and the elderly awaiting death. It was there where adventurous youths sought answers, and still another world colored with the magnificent art of the Huichol people. Real de Catorce is a town with a stone face and the flavor of the desert.
