An armed group of 10 men entered a rehabilitation center in the outskirts of León, and kidnapped 9 women, including a minor.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours on Monday September 26 at “Las Joyas de León” Adiction Rehab Center, on Calle“Antimotina” # 114, in the corner with Calle “Malaquita”, “Las Joyas” neighborhood, in León, Guanajuato .
To carry out the multiple kidnapping, one of the captors entered the premises allegedly to request information, when the prison guard was neglected, the suspect let the other 9 men into the facility, where they abducted 9 women, dragged out into a vehicle and fled the scene.
The rehab center staff sought police help from the Emergency number (066), minutes later municipal police officers arrived on the scene, but it was obviously too late to stpo the criminals, and so far the operation to locate the missing continues, without positive results so far.
It is presumed that these poor women had been abducted by organized crime groups in order to use the as sexual workers (prostitutes), probably in other state.
