Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) has been chosen as one of the 25 “coolest” Film Festivals in the world for the year 2016. The list was issued by the prestigious international media, Movie Maker.

Movie Maker is an American magazine specialized in the film industry, that features an expert’s panel which every year determine what film festivals are setting standards in the world.
It should be noted that the selection was made by a group of film experts who nominate a number of events around the world and then discuss and agree which will be on the final list of the 25 world’s most innovative and avant-guard film festivals.
