On Wednesday, Aug. 31, with an investment of 900 million pesos (47.36 million USD) VYNMSA Industrial Park began the construction work of its new complex in León, Guanajuato.
The park will be established an area of 26 hectares for its phase one, and has reserved 20 more hectares for future expansion, as reported by Juan Carlos Gonzalez Quezada, VYNMSA Group’s CFO.
Gonzalez declared: “the state of Guanajuato was our getaway into the Bajio region nine years ago, and remains as a strong growing platform for our company, proof is today we are making additional investments across Guanajuato”.
VYNMSA León Industrial Park, located south of León, features: hydraulic concrete, water network for processing, wastewater treatment plant , power station, green areas, led lighting and sustainable technology to protect natural resources.
“Proof of our commitment is the first industrial warehouse inventory of six thousand square meters with expansion capacity that we are building alongside the park” the CFO added.
VYNMSA Group is a leasing and construction developer of industrial parks and warehouses based in Mexico City, with 23 developments spread across northeastern and central Mexico; eight of these located in the Bajio region, (Guanajuato, Queretaro and San Luis Potosi).
Besides, the company has a large presence in Guanajuato, with different industrial sites such as: Guanajuato Puerto Interior, Castro River Park in Irapuato and VYNMSA Industrial Park.
In the coming years, this important project will generate at least 5, 000 direct jobs and 2,000 indirect.
Gonzalez explained that companies who will establish there, will provide a source of long-term work for many families and surrounding municipalities, some of the customers are Hanwha, Hyundai Dymos, Koam, Hitachi, Schaeffler, Hexacomb, Faurecia, DHL, Tyden Brooks, Lego, Siemens, Wyman Gordon, Continental, among others.
The breaking ground ceremony was attended by the Governor of Guanajuato, Miguel Marquez Marquez; Mayor of Leon, Hector Lopez Santillana; VYNMSA’s CFO, Juan Carlos Gonzalez Quezada and Ricardo Romero González, partners of VYNMSA León Industrial Park.
