In time, they will determine to if Civil Legislation of the state of Guanajuato needs to be modified in order to allow these couples to formalize their relation.

García continued: “We attend the federal resolutions, fulfilling the requirements, which normally present different ways to solve each situation”.

Sometimes, when they present the injunction in order to defend their rights, the court grants “a suspension of the authority decision”, in which case, same sex couples are able to marry; in other cases, the copuple has to wait until a court of law fulfills that resolution in the end.”

He concluded that the Civil Registry of Guanajuato attends to all same-sex couples, who want to get marry and present their defense.
