“Shemale” murdered in Pénjamo, Guanajuato

On Tuesday October 11, shortly after 8 am the body of a man dressed as a woman was found at the rural community of “Las Coloradas”, Pénjamo municipality, in Guanajuato. The corpse had at least four bullet wounds, one of them on the face.

Five .45 caliber shell casings were found at the crime scene, just a few feet away from the victim’s dead body.

The deseased was identified as 35 year-old Carlos Alberto Armas Carvajal, originally from “Barrio del Sanitario” at “El Banquete” neighborhood in La Piedad, Michoacán.

Armas Carvajal was also known as ‘La Ariel’, ‘La Polla‘ or ‘Diana‘. He was slim, about 5 feet tall, with light brown skin and long dark hair. He used to work in a “Cachimba” (or cantina), next to the toll road bridge of the Pénjamo-La Piedad highway.

At the time, the man was wearing a black blouse, bright pink shorts and no shoes. The transvestite body was lying face down on a dirt road. And due to the stiffness of the corpse at the time of the discovery, the Coroner presumed that he was killed the night before.

The discovery of Carlos Armas Carvajal was reported anonymously to Emergency Number 066 in La Piedad.

The local Police gave notice to the Attorney General, and the body was taken to the Forensic Medical Service facilities (Servicio Médico Forense-Semefo) in order to make the necropsy and integrate the corresponding file.

Law enforcement authorities in Pénjamo are conducting the proper investigation in order to arrest the responsible for this murder in “Las Coloradas”.
