Proving barriers were meant to be broken, Mujeres en Cambio Fashion Show Chairperson Beth Rosener forged new territory with the organization’s third annual “Art of Fashion…San Miguel.”

And while Angela Nasta’s Sindashi hand-painted fashions were once again featured—exclusively, this year—the runway lineup included professional models Blanca BerBer—stunning proves too limiting an adjective for this Mexican beauty—and Mittie Roger, as well as bon vivant first-timers Charlie Kessler and Greg Nye, whose runway struts demonstrated why the colorful peacock is the male.

Raising funds for women’s educational scholarships seldom proves so colorful, or fashionable. Current and past MEC Presidents Misty Haskett and Kathy Devine helped round up 18 models for a record-breaking event in terms of fashions and attendees.

Kirsten West once again cooked up amazing appetizers and led a host of food donors—in a nod to their upcoming “Men Who Cook” event, this was Fashionistas Who Cook—leaving viewers fashionable, fabulous and full. Your author always volunteers to ccver this show—next year should prove eye-popping!
