First San Miguel de Allende Christmas Race

San Miguel de Allende, Gto.- On Sunday, December 4, the first Christmas Race was held on the “Paseo de los Conspiradores” with around 500 participants, as part of the new “Via Activa” initiative, which seeks that families from San Miguel de Allende, live a healthier life with access to sport activities every Sunday.

From early on, families and groups of friends gathered to participate in the different activities, such as jogging, inflatables, bike ride and zumba among others.

Mayor Ricardo Villarreal attended the ceremony, and reminded all participants that since November 27, an activation program at the “Paseo de los Conspiradores” takes place from 7 am to 1 pm, every Sunday.

As part of the activities last Sunday, the Municipal Administration, through the Municipal Sports Commission (COMUDE), held the first Christmas 5-kilometers Race, to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
