Querétaro, December 20 .- Among emotions, laughter and astonishment, children and their parents witnessed the inauguration of the biggest ice rink ever set up in the state of Querétaro!
The inauguration ceremony was attended by municipal authorities in “Alameda Hidalgo”.
From Tuesday December 20, 2016, to January 20, 2017; the Ice Rink will be available to all residents of Querétaro capital, as well as tourists and visitors, free addmission.
This infrastructure had an investment of 3 million pesos (150 thousand USD), and includes skating equipment, specialized supervision, as well as maintenance.
“If we do the math, 250 people will be able to enter to the ice rink per every 40 minutes, from 10 am to 3 pm, and from 4 to 9 pm, for a total of 65 thousand people that will be able to skate without paying a single cent and enjoy Alameda Hidalgo,” declared Mayor Marcos Aguilar.
