Guanajuato strengthens its relationship with France

On Tuesday January 24th, the Guanajuato State Government signed a cooperation agreement with France, which purpose is to join efforts to carry out a series of projects on different matters, such as education, culture, trade, business and regional development, among others.

Miguel Márquez Márquez, Governor of Guanajuato, presided the signing of the Grupo Francia agreement.

This event was also attended by French Ambassador Maryse Bossiére, other authorities from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic and members of the National Conference of Governors (Conferencia Nacional de Gobernadores, CONAGO).

Márquez Márquez declared: “After the signing of this important agreement with France,  Guanjuato’s authorities and French representatives will analyze all the possible scenarios of joint working in several areas such as education, regional development, culture and innovation.”
