The sales of luxury and sports cars reached historical figures during 2016 in the state of Guanajuato.
According to the Association of Automotive Distributors of the State of Guanajuato, A.C. (AMDA –Asociación de Distribuidores de Automotores del Estado de Guanajuato, A.C.), directed by Arturo González Palomino, between 3,500 and 4,000 luxury vehicles were sold in the state during the year 2016, resulting in 25% more than in 2015.
Meanwhile, at the national level, the figure achieved in 2016 is expected to be 10% higher than last year.

Historic luxury car sales in Mexico
For example, the premium luxury brand Infiniti accumulated 33 consecutive months with historical levels of sales in Mexico, and closed 2016 with a new marketing record in the country, that highlights the dynamism of the luxury cars national market.
The Japanese firm reported that while in 2011 they sold 231 units in Mexico, they managed to sell 1,818 in 2015 and 1,995 in 2016!
