Riverboat Cruising

River cruising is increasing in popularity every year, with more ships are being launched and more rivers being explored. Come to Rotary Tuesday, January 17, to hear travel consultant Rex Fritschi share riverboat cruising’s tips for insiders.  The meeting will be at Hotel Mision, Salida a Queretaro 1, at 12:30 p.m. The presentation will be free and in English.                                 

Fritschi was born in London and studied in Switzerland.  He entered the travel industry in 1948, and opened his own business 20 years later.  Rex Travel is an award-winning service that serves an upscale leisure clientele.

Fritschi has a number of travel industry credentials and has served on various industry advisory boards, such as those for car rental agencies, hotels, cruiselines, magazines, etc. He has visited more than 165 countries and islands, and has sailed on more than 60 ocean cruise ships and many riverboats.  He is a proud to be a Rotary Club past president.
