Netherlands to open Consulting Office for Investors in Querétaro

The businesses sector of Querétaro has gone through a significant growing process in recent years. Therefore, Dutch investors have shown a great interest to establish a Consulting office for Investors at the “World Trade Center Juriquilla, Querétaro”.

The government of Holland has established 20 offices of this kind around the world.

“Netherlands will open a business office in our state soon, with the purpose of facilitating the arrival of international firms to Querétaro and other states of this region”, said Margriet Nieske Leemhuis, Netherlands’ ambassador in Mexico, during a meeting with Luis Bernardo Nava Guerrero, State Government Office Director and Marco Antonio del Petre, State Secretary of Sustainable Development.

Due to the fact that a significant growth impacts the Querétaro’s economy, the World Trade Center Juriquilla will be part of the 20 offices in charge of Dutch entrepreneurs. This office will support auto parts companies as well as horticulture sector enterprises.

The economic advisor of the Netherlands Embassy to Mexico, Alex de Kerpel; Senior Advisor to the Economic Department of the Netherlands in Mexico, Irasema Mendoza Martínez; the heads of the Business Support Office of the Netherlands in Querétaro, Steve Buter and René Spaan, respectively; and the Coordinator of International Relations and Government Innovation of Querétaro, Eduardo Presa Ampudia attended this meeting.
