Parking meter and public bicycles programs cancelled in Querétaro
The mayor of Querétaro, Marcos Aguilar Vega, reported the cancellation of the system of parking meters as well as the shared public bicycles’ program in the Historic Center.
Previously, the mayor met with council city members privately, in order to talk about these programs. Meanwhile, the Municipal Secretary of Querétaro’s Mobility, Mauricio Cobo Urquiza, avoided to make any statements on the matter, and asked the members of the press for discretion, until the mayor himself makes an official announcement.
Mayor Marcos Aguilar Vega will hold a press conference at 5 pm, today Thursday March 16, where it is expected that he formally confirms the cancellation of these municipal projects.
