San Miguel de Allende in the Top of the Friendliest Cities in the World: T+L Magazine

CITY OF MEXICO (Notimex) – San Miguel de Allende is the only city in Latin America ranked in the Travel + Leisure magazine’ List of the friendliest cities around the world.

According to the publication, “San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful city, where tourists and locals alike greet one another daily with a smile,” observed an impressed T+L reader…”

“San Miguel de Allende has received ten designations, seven of them in the tourism sector. In this case, the appointment allows us to continue doing things the right way,” said Ricardo Villarreal, Mayor of San Miguel de Allende.

“This UNESCO World Heritage site in Mexico, beloved for its rich arts scene and colonial architecture, also makes guests feel right at home” continued the statement.

The file stated that the number one is occupied by the city of Thimphu, Buthan, where people are happy, genuine, and helpful; Charleston, South Carolina is in second place, and Chiang Mai, Thailand in third place.
