The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) continues to oppose the Interior Security law.

Coordinator for the Democratic Revolution Party’s (PRD) parliamentary group, Francisco Martínez Neri said they were firm in their stance to first listen to all the opinions. President of the Government Commission Mercedes Guillén said that a dialogue will be maintained between all political forces.

She rejected the notion that the Interior Security law has failed, like National Action Party (PAN) senator Roberto Gil had claimed. Guillén said will continue working on finding a consensus before April 30, the day the regular sessions end.
