Missing teenage girl found dead in Guanajuato

GUANAJUATO, Gto. — 14-year-old Fernanda Paola Vega Blaine went missing on Saturday May 13, after leaving her home in the community of “Empalme Escobedo”, municipality of Comonfort, to meet with a friend. Twelve days later, she was found dead on the “Juventino Rosas – Guanajuato” highway.

According to her friend Jocelyn, they were hanging out with two men, visiting the “Allende” dam, near the exit of San Miguel de Allende towards the city of Guanajuato on Saturday May 13.

Then, these individuals took them to the state of Hidalgo against their will, where Jocelyn was able to escape and asked for help to return home. She never saw Fernanda Paola again.
