Guanajuato, Mexico, Jun. 5 (Notimex) .- In the last five years, 65 companies have expanded their operations with an investment of over 3.4 billion dollars, generating more than 26,700 new jobs, the state government reported.
In an official statement, the sate government said that the companies that have expanded their operations in the state are located in the municipalities of Silao, Irapuato, San Miguel de Allende, Comonfort, San Jose Iturbide, Apaseo el Grande, San Francisco del Rincón.
In addition to Valle de Santiago, Celaya, León, Salamanca, San Felipe, San Diego de la Unión, Villagrán, San Luis de la Paz, Jaral del Progreso, Ocampo and Cuerámaro.
The statement added that, with the installation of companies outside the industrial corridor, the economy of the state is diversifying, through the industrialization of all these municipalities.
It was also said that, the arrival of new companies enriches the cultural development of the state, creates new communities and establishes both commercial and social alliances.
Also, the state economy is strengthened with new professional opportunities for the people of Guanajuato through employment.
This situation is also triggering the industrial development of cities as these investments bring infrastructure, connectivity, as well as basic services to the local communities.
Corporations that have expanded their operations in the state have as their home countries: the United States, Germany, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom and England.
These projects belong to the Automotive and Auto Parts Services, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic sectors; Construction, Ceramics and Materials; Metal-Mechanics, Footwear and Supply; Chemical, and Food, Agroindustrial and Agricultural Sectors.
