Ten people injured in car accident on the San Miguel – Celaya highway

On Sunday July 9, an accident left ten people injured, including four children, but they were al successfully transported to San Miguel’s  General Hospital, as well as to a private hospital to receive the proper medical attention.

The facts took place on the San Miguel-Celaya highway, near the Federal Electricity Commission substation, where three vehicles were involved, a Volkswagen Jetta with Guanajuato license plates, and two Ford vehicles, one with Guanajuato license plates, and the other with Mexico City license plates.

The accident happened due to lack of precaution, as the Volkswagen Jetta, allegedly at high speed, hit one of the other vehicles from behind, causing it to crash against the other car.

Personnel of the Red Cross and Fire Department arrived to the site of the accident to help a total of ten people injured.
