Guanajuato students will travel to Panamerican Robotics competition

On May 5 and 6, CEDVA and UTEC students participated in the national robotics tournament of Smart Cubo, organized by the Association of Robotics and Technology A.C.

The national competition took place at the ITESM campus Estado de México, it was attended by 34 schools from 12 states of the Mexican Republic, with the participation of 1,200 students of all levels of education from elementary to high school, competing simultaneously in different categories.

Guanajuato students will travel to Panamerican Robotics competition


The participating students from the Guanajuato based educational institutions, Secundaria UTEC and Preparatioria CEDVA, represented their hometown Celaya and the state of Guanajuato with excellent results, obtaining the first place in the categories of “Robot Scribler” and “VEX Robotics”.

This triumph led the group of students to obtain their direct pass to the Pan American Robotic Games, where they will compete against 5 Central and South American countries.
