San Miguel’s Public Security staff receive new uniforms

San Miguel de Allende’s  municipal government spent one million pesos to standardize the uniforms of all Public Security Secretariat members: police officers, transits, Civil Protection elements and cadets from the Police Training Center.

Mayor Ricardo Villarreal addressed the uniformed men and women and told them that they are part of the police and security force number one in the state of Guanajuato, which maintained the commitment not only to train them, but also to gear them up with the proper equipment and uniforms.

Ricardo Benavides, secretary of Public Security announced that the second ministry of the Program for Strengthening Security 2017 (Programa para el Fortalecimiento de la Seguridad: Fortaseg) will require an investment of approximatelly 3 million pesos, which includes equipment.
