Faces of San Miguel Exhibit

Photographer, Carlos G. Maier, is exhibiting his work Faces of San Miguel on Thursday, October 5th at 7PM at the Artspace Garage at Dos Casas located on Umaran 42.

Photographing over 150 locals ranging in age from three months to seniors, Carlos photographed each in his studio in about five minutes feeling it was all the time needed to capture their character.

Dos Casas Hotel Management is thrilled to feature the exhibit stating “for the first time someone showed the people of San Miguel as they are.”

All images are on handmade Japanese paper fibers, one of a kind artist prints so no two sheets are similar. Being translucent, the paper offers the viewer deeper insight into the person for a silent, but powerful, conversation.

The show will be up for two weeks.
