Canada and Mexico strongly reject NAFTA proposals by US officials

Canada, Mexico remain committed to continuing negotiations on NAFTA.

Canada and Mexico will not abandon the negotiating table to modernize the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), in force between the three countries since 1994, despite the absolute rejection of US protectionist demands, said the two people familiar with the positions of both countries, which were not identified.
