Dismembered human remains were found inside two plastic bags and wrapped in a blue canvas in the middle of the road on the Irapuato-Salamanca federal highway 45.
Several motorists witnessed the moment when men in two pickup trucks threw the bags to the side of the road, not far from the Ciudad Industrial exit, public security authorities said.
The finding was made around 6 in the morning and it is presumed that the remains correspond to the bodies of two or three men, according to the first data of the ministerial police investigation.
