Mexico participates in the International Nativity Show inaugurated in Rome, Italy

On Thursday, November 23, at 11:30 am in the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo, in Rome, the  42nd International Exhibition “100 Presepi“, that means “100 Nativities” (Christian Cribs), was inaugurated.

This exhibition features more than one hundred artisan Nativities from 40 different countries and also from several regions of Italy.

Mexico participates with a large-scale Nativiy made in the State of Oaxaca.

And the Embassy of Guatemala before the Holy See organized and directed a theatrical group made up of Italian children who sang emotional Christmas carols and a traditional “posada” in Spanish.

At the end of the musical act a delicious punch was served.

This exhibition will remain open to the public until January 8, 2018.

Rome is preparing to celebrate the Christmas festivities with many events in different squares, museums and churches.

Also, some stores begin to show off their extraordinary storefront windows on the occasion of the holiday season.
