Shocking police camera footage shows two officers tasing and tackling Mexican suspect with controversial chokehold technique that finally killed him in Southern California.
California officials on Wednesday December 6 released surveillance and body cam footage of the fatal arrest of Fermin Vincent Valenzuela, 32 Valenzuela, a resident of Anaheim, California, who died on July 10, 2016 after several days in the hospital.
He was taken off life support after being put in a medically induced coma.
Valenzuela suffered cardiac arrest after being stunned by police officers On July 2, 2016.
Local police officers responded to a call about a suspicious man following a woman to her home.
When they found Valenzuela he tried to ‘physically push’ the officers. Valenzuela’s ex-wife said the man suffered bi-polar disorder, and he was temporarily off medication.
In September 2017, Orange County officials said the officers involved in the incident, Woojin Jun and Daniel Wolfe, were justified in their use of force since the suspect tried to resist the arrest.
