How to whiten your teeth with Coconut Oil

It is not a mystery to anyone that smoking, drinking tea of coffee excessively, eating too much acid food (such as lime or lemon) among other habits, very often cause our teeth to look yellowish (or even brown).

However the fault is not entirely from our everyday habits, as yellowish teeth are related to poor dental hygiene too, which also triggers the proliferation of tooth decay and bad breath. This problem, believe it or not, can be reduced with the use of coconut oil.

It has been shown that coconut oil, especially if it is treated with enzymes, has a biocidal effect, which means it is antibacterial and antifungal, and can prevent cavities and mouth or tongue fungal infections, according to Yucatecan dentist Iván Malagón.

How to apply coconut oil on your teeth:

The most effective way to apply it is through a toothpaste, with which you should wash your mouth every night, before sleeping. Here is how you do it:

Toothpaste with coconut oil

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of baking soda

This mixture is used just as the commercial toothpaste and, you will have a coconut flavor and a clean sensation in your mouth that you will love.

Try it… and let us know if it works or not…
