Kennedy’s spirit in the State of the Union

JFK’s ghost roamed around Donald Trump in 2018 State of the Union when he said: “. . . the future we’re going to have and what kind of nation we are going to be . . .” a classic Kennedy speech rip off, almost word by word and he went even farther and said: “. . . we all share the same home, the same heart, the same destiny and the same American flag . . .”.

After a very peculiar speech from Donald Trump, came the response with Joseph Kennedy III speaking on behalf of the Democrats, with a powerful and coherent discourse he described a very different USA than the one Trump had celebrated earlier, talking about a merciful health system, top CEOs making three hundred times of what the average workers are making and pledged to fight for the “dreamers”, great charisma and he might even start to de mentioned as a 2020 contender.

Kennedy’s 13 minute speech was powerful, direct and structured to talk about a very different reality than the one expressed by the President and touched upon very conflictive issues such as: A nation divided, Stock Market going up the roof but millions of Americans are not benefitted by that at all, gender equality among other subjects.
