San Miguel debuts as convention tourism destination
San Miguel de Allende, Gto. (OEM-Informex) .- The city, heritage of humanity and awarded “Best World City to Visit” by Travel + Leisure, just debuted as convention tourism destination with 87 events, 14,000 visitors and an economic income of 46,000,000 pesos, according to the report of results for 2017 by the Tourism Council of San Miguel de Allende.

Gonzalo Gonzalez, head of the Tourist Board of San Miguel de Allende, announced that through the campaign “Small City, Big Heart” during 2018, the Tourist Board will articulate the strategy of tourism permanence , taking advantange of the international recognitions as best city to visit in the world.
Gonzalez mentioned that in the area of social networks the strategy will continue with the positioning of the hashtag #YoSoySanMiguel.
