Thirty people injured in roll-over wreck 60 miles East of San Miguel

At least 30 people resulted injured in a car accident on the morning of Friday February 2, when the driver of a passenger bus that was covering the Santa Catarina-Atarjea route, apparently lost control and  the vehicle ended upside down in a creek at the bottom of a 200-foot ravine.

The vehicle presumably ran out of brakes, went off the road and fell into a ravine rolling over several times at kilometer four near the community El Chilar.

Santa Catarina is located 60 miles East of San Miguel de Allende

The injured could get out of the wreck through the windows, and waited for the arrival of the emergency units, who transferred them to the nearest hospital to receive medical attention.

No fatalities are reported after the accident.
