Conexstur held their 2nd Business Meeting in the city of Guanajuato.

This time, the seven partners of Conexstur, headed by its president Arnaldo Pinazzi and the undersecretary of Tourism Promotion of Guanajuato, Octavio Aguilar, met in work and negotiation tables with 34 Service Providers and representatives of different Destinations of Guanajuato, in order to promote the “tourism products” in the state, in regions such as the United States, Canada, Latin America and Europe.

This visit included León, Celaya, San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato Capital, Mineral de Pozos; Dolores Hidalgo, (Magical Town and Cradle of National Independence); and San Miguel de Allende, World Heritage City.

Nohemí Zarate Cova, director of the association recognized that for the first time a destination in Mexico makes combinations between discussion panels and experiences.

It is worth mentioning that these activities are one of the strategies of the State Ministry of Tourism to continue positioning SMA and Guanajuato throughout the world.

During one of the conversations, Tourism authorities said that last year, Guanajuato was visited by tourists from Japan, Brazil, the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Colombia, Spain, Germany, France, among other countries.

This type of work also benefits the “Viajemos Todos Por México” domestic tourism promotion program, since negotiations are generated that impact nearby states.
