Two Japanese construction firms to build a hotel in León, Guanajuato

A Japanese hotel will be built in Leon, but according to the “AM” newspaper, the transaction is still in process, since the purchase of the property has not yet been confirmed.

The hotel in León would be built by Japanese company Daiwa House Group, which at the beginning of the year confirmed its arrival in Querétaro (Valle Juriquilla) at request of Toyota executives that reside in that city and have corporate headquarters in Apaseo el Grande, where the Toyota plant is located.

The hotel would be similar to the one in Querétaro, which is being built with an investment of 40 million USD and will boast 280 rooms. (Photo: am.com.mx)

Japanese firm Fujita is also collaborating in the construction of the ‘Hotel & Serviced Apartament Project Querétaro’.

Fujita is responsible for the construction of most Japanese car manufacturing plants in the Bajío, including Mazda, Honda and Toyota.

Both firms are targeting the State of Guanajuato to develop two main projects, an industrial park in San Miguel de Allende and the hotel in León.

The hotel would be similar to the one in Querétaro, which is being built with an investment of 40 million USD and we are talking about a 280-room property, half of it exclusively for the use of the Japanese community who come to the Bajío region to reside for a certain period of time.
