Comonfort.- In an attempt of social rehabilitation after a series of crimes in the area, on April 15, Comonfort authorities held the second Urban Festival in the recently restored San Carlos Park.
In this second festival, about 200 young people gathered up to show their skateboarding skills and abilities. Other activities such as a spray painting or graffiti contest also took place and an urban dancing demonstration was held as well.
Besides, for the enjoyment of the young people, the local rock band Exilios performed during the festival.
The call through the municipal sports commission led by Gabriela Lomas brought together young people from the municipality and surrounding areas, which enriched the competition that gave awards for a total of 10,000 pesos at the end of the day.
The event was presided by Comonfort municipal president José Alberto Méndez.
