Embassy Consular Officials Visit Morelia to Share Information about Consular Services

Morelia, May 2-4, 2018 – Consular officials from the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City visited Morelia, Michoacán, this week to share information about U.S. consular services.

At meetings with local government and NGO representatives in Morelia, the officials answered questions about U.S. passports; U.S. citizenship; tourist, student, and H-2 work visas; and fraud prevention.

The officials also emphasized the Embassy’s commitment to the “Documéntate” (“Get Documented”) initiative to document U.S.-born children of Mexican parents residing in Mexico.
