The candidate for the governorship of the state for the coalition Por Guanajuato al frente, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, committed himself to build a new highway from this municipality to the state capital, in order to boost tourism.

In the @DiegoSinhueMX social networks account, the standard-bearer of the National Action (PAN), Democratic Revolution (PRD) and Movimiento Ciudadano parties indicated that this project will help to generate more tourism activity in the region.

During his visit to San Miguel de Allende to request citizen votes, on July 1, Rodríguez Vallejo considered that the highway would promote a greater and better distribution of the products manufactured in San Miguel.
