International Film Festival of Guanajuato closes with electronic Tunnel Fest

After two years of absence the Tunnel Fest returned and positioned itself as the quintessential party of the closing of the International Film Festival of Guanajuato (GIFF).

On this occasion, the Guanajuato’s San Diego tunnel (near Presa de la Olla) was the place that housed the beats of DJs Iñigo Vontier, Emmanuel Satie and Borja.

One of the confirmed DJs who canceled for reasons unrelated to production was Hector, who apologized hours before his presentation through social networks.

“Sadly I have to inform the people of Guanajuato that were coming to see me at the Tunnel Fest, that I could not be there, since this morning (Saturday), the Munich airport was evacuated. The promoters of the Tunnel Fest did everything possible for me to attend, but it was impossible,” Hector said in his social networks.

About three thousand people immersed themselves in the electronic sound and warm atmosphere of the tunnel, little by little the adrenaline rose, and the DJs transported the crowd to a different dimension with the sounds of their music.

Filmmakers and creative artists, pat of the crew of the GIFF, closed their night in the Tunnel, where hundreds of people partied until 4 in the morning.
