One week ago, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende was named for the third time in a row the best hotel in Mexico in a colonial destination, according to Travel + Leisure Mexico Magazine.
“This hotel located in the municipality of San Miguel Allende shows high standards of service, attention to detail with the client and the high quality of its facilities and accommodations led Rosewood to obtain this nomination”, said Alfredo Rentería, General Director of Rosewood San Miguel de Allende.
Also for the third consecutive year, the hotel was placed as the best Pet Friendly Hotel in Mexico; according to the philosophy of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, pets are also a guest and should be treated with the same quality service.
Travel + Leisure Mexico grants this award according to the opinio of the magazine editors, along with 20 members of a jury, who make a selection of the most prominent hotels in the country.
21 categories are considered, among which stand out the service and attention of its personnel, the quality of the activities and amenities, the innovation in design and architecture, and its social and environmental responsibility.
The category of Best Colonial Destination refers to those properties that have known how to highlight the historical value of the city in which they are located.
Rosewood San Miguel de Allende was awarded in this category for the way in which the hotel has taken advantage of each of its characteristics to celebrate the World Heritage City.
Regarding the appointment of the best Pet Friendly Hotel, the establishment’s staff pampers its four-legged guests with an exclusive pet menu, treatments at the spa intended for their relaxation, staff dedicated to programmed walks and a specialized “pet friendly” concierge service.
Rosewood San Miguel de Allende has 67 spacious suites that reflect the colonial architecture of the destination to which 29 luxurious residences are added.
It offers the client distinguished gastronomic spaces in its Restaurant 1826, Bar 1826, Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar, Agua and Pirules Artisan Kitchen & Garden Bar, which reflect the culinary culture of traditional and contemporary Mexico.
