San Miguel de Allende, ‘2018 Best Small City in the World’ by Condé Nast Traveler

San Miguel de Allende did it again!

Our beloved colonial city was recognized for the second consecutive year as the ‘2018 Best Small City in the World’ at the 31st annual Condé Nast Traveler Awards given by readers of the magazine, the editorial team announced from New York City.

In addition, within the list ‘The 50 best hotels in the world’, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende occupies the position number 15, Matilda is 22nd and Nena Hotel Boutique on 48th place.

The World Heritage City will receive the award in New York on Thursday October 11th. It is one of the most relevant and longest recognized awards in the travel industry.

In 2013, the municipality was recognized as the ‘Best City in the World’ by Condé Nast Traveler.

In addition San Miguel was considered the ‘American Capital of Culture for 2019’, by the International Office of Cultural Capitals (IBOCC), a designation that will allow this city to win eight thousand advertisement campaigns in 45 countries, a promotional expense equivalent to two million dollars in paid advertising .
