Querétaro and Toluca, the cities with the lowest traffic in Mexico

A study carried out by the Sin Tráfico organization reveals that Querétaro, Toluca, Guadalajara, Culiacán and Cancún are the five cities where you can travel more kilometers during 30 minutes during peak hours.

Therefore, the web portal Vivanuncios shares the cost of living in cities where there is less traffic or where you can travel more kilometers; Queretaro comes in first place with 27 kilometers during a period of traffic.

In a statement, eBay real estate portal explained that in this city the cost of houses for sale ranges between two and ten million pesos, although there are options that start from the 900,000 pesos in near-by areas.

Another city where a 24-kilometer route can be reached during intense traffic hours, is Toluca, which has registered a significant growth in recent years. In Toluca housing prices fluctuate between one and fifteen million pesos.

In third place, is the metropolis of Guadalajara where you can travel 21 kilometers during 30 minutes at peak time and have average housing prices of three and a half million pesos, while in residential areas prices can exceed the 12 million pesos barrier.

The next destination is the northern city of Culiacán, in Sinaloa, where it was possible to advance 19 kilometers during the hour of intense traffic, and in the real estate market you can find properties of all tastes, houses from a million and a half pesos, up to residential properties that could sell for up to 18 million pesos.

In fifth place comes the city of Cancun, Quintana Roo, beach destination par excellence, it is possible to travel 18 kilometers in 30 minutes as there is a good synchronization of traffic lights that helped reduce 30% (30 minutes) the time of transportation.

In this place the prices of real estate vary depending on the area in which a house is listed, here you can find houses from 1.2 million pesos to ocean view condos worth three million dollars.

Finally, Sin Tráfico also mentioned other cities that, thanks to their infrastructure and road distribution allow to travel more distance in 30 minutes out of their peak hours: Chihuahua with 68 kilometers, Campeche with 51.1 kilometers and Zacatecas with 46.1 kilometers.
