Pipe-type vehicle containing stolen fuel found in SMA

On Friday, December 14,  agents of the Security Forces of the State ensured in SMA, a pipe loaded with more than 18,000 liters of hydrocarbon that had been stolen from the Pemex pipelines.

To extract the fuel, the thieves used a special pipe for the cleaning of pits, which according to the image, has a blue logo with a white colored symbol, as well as an “AGUAS ” logo which can be seen in the door of the vehicle.

The pipe, which has a theft report in San Miguel de Allende, apparently belongs to the Water System (SAPASMA) in San Miguel de Allende.

The statement sent by the Secretariat of Security indicates that the vehicle was not built for that type of loading, but for issues of maintenance and cleaning of septic tanks and sewage.

Agents of the Operational Tactical Group (Grupo Táctico Operativo) conducted an operation and detected the pipe-type vehicle in an apparent state of abandonment. When verifying the data of the truck through the C5i State System, they found out it had a theft report.

The truck and the fuel were placed under custody of the corresponding authorities.
