Aeroméxico and Aeroflot sign a codeshare agreement

Mexico, January 16 (Notimex).- Aeromexico informed that as of last Monday Jan 14th, passengers traveling from Mexico or Moscow will be able to connect by air with the Mexican airline since it signed a codeshared with Aeroflot, the Russian national airline par excellence.

Similarly, it said in a statement that Mexicans could reach the Russian capital through the points in Europe where
Aeromexico has operations, namely Amsterdam, London, Madrid and Paris.

The statement said that both airlines have been strong allies for several years thanks to the SkyTeam alliance to which both belong, derived from it, this sharedcode will also include the benefits of the program as a frequent traveler of the alliance, a scheme of accumulation and exchange of miles which seeks to reward the loyalty of customers.

The airline explained that each time a traveler uses this code will add miles that can later be changed by airline tickets with member airlines, while users will have access to services offered by SkyPriority in airports,  for check-in priority, boarding and luggage handling, as well as special lanes in ticket offices.

This points can also be used at connection counters, security control and immigration for a smooth travel experience, among other important benefits. Another advantage is the reciprocity in the use of VIP lounges so that the clients of both airlines can have access to the amenities that these spaces offer in order to make the waiting for each flight more pleasant and efficient.

“This way, Aeroméxico reinforces its commitment to continue expanding the travel possibilities for its users through partnerships with the most important international partners, which allows travelers to go further”, the statement concluded.
