5 new Industrial Parks under construction in Querétaro

Five new industrial parks have been confirmed for this year in the state of Querétaro, which will involve 700 hectares more to the industrial real estate development.

The Secretary of Sustainable Development, Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, said that two of these parks are located in the municipality of Pedro Escobedo, two more in San Juan del Rio (which corresponds to an expansion plan), and one more industrial park will be built within the Querétaro municipality.
 
An industrial automation company wil settle in the muncipality of El Marqués with a 2.5 million dollars investment.

Del Prete Tercero reported that these new complexes will be added to 45 industrial parks in the state, where more than 1,600 companies are settled.

The official said that the municipality of Pedro Escobedo will host two new industrial parks, one on highway 57 and another on highway 310, each of these projects with an average area of ​​40 to 50 hectares .

The Secretary of Sustainable Development announced that there investors interested in settling in each of these two parks, although he did not reveal the name of the firms.

In the case of San Juan del Río, a new industrial park is under construction and another one is currently in an expansion phase. While a so-called ”
micro park ” will be developed in the municipality of Querétaro.

Finally, Del Prete Tercero stated that there are around four thousand hectares of industrial developments under construction right now in different municipalities of the state of Querétaro.
