Federal Government sends 2,400 police troops to 4 regions in Guanajuato

The head of the Federal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, Alfonso Durazo, informs that they will reinforce surveillance in 17 regions of the country, and specifically in Guanajuato, they will allocate 2,400 federal security agents.

These police officers will be distributed in four regions, in a total of 16 different municipalities across the state of Guanajuato.

-Jaral del Progreso

-Santa Cruz de Juventino Rosas

Celaya Region

-San Miguel de Allende

-Apaseo el Alto

-Apaseo the Grande

-Celaya

-Comonfort

Uriangato Region

-Cortazar

-Moroleon

-Salvatierra

-Santiago Maravatío

-Uriangato

-Yuriria

The announcement was made at AMLO’s press conference on the morning of Wednesday February 6th in Mexico City.
