El Marro’s house raided by federal and state police

On Thursday March 7, federal and state agents, raided the property that allegedly belongs to José Antonio Yépez, known as ‘El Marro’, leader of the Santa Rosa de Lima cartel located in the community of the same name in the municipality of Villagrán, Guanajuato.

The one-hectare property is located at the exit of Santa Rosa de Lima, near the Celaya-Salamanca highway, and it is surrounded by land used for agriculture.

The property has a large swimming pool, palapas and recreational areas; in the center there is a house. José Antonio Yépez is the most wanted criminal in the state of Guanajuato.

Inside the premises, four trucks were found, apparently loaded with stolen fuel.

For the time being, it is unknown if the authorities who carried out the operation removed any objects or belongings from this property.
